The bigger picture

For decades, skateparks popped up after significant pressure from passionate local skaters and riders; something we cannot commend enough.

But as an indirect result, the distribution and quality of Skateparks across the UK varies massively, with many still pushed to the fringes of our public realm by clients that misunderstand their value.

Through continued advocacy and an unwavering commitment to inclusive design principles, Wheelscape is reframing the value of Skateparks as a critical public health resource, as vital as any other.

We believe we can leave behind an active legacy in every community, that lasts for generations to come.

Who we are

Wheelscape is an award winning design and construction company, owned and operated by skaters and riders, excited to redefine expectations.

At it’s most basic: we want to give back to the activities, and the communities, that have given us so much.

Our approach

We forge close working relationships with clients and communities that share our desire for transformational change. We guide communities and clients through the complete process of getting a new Skatepark from the seed of an idea right through to the design, construction and management of their sparkling new Skatepark.

Wheelscape’s in-situ concrete construction method is entirely bespoke, affording our designers total design freedom to respond to the aspirations of each community in unique and inspiring ways, lowering the barrier to entry wherever possible and creating beautiful, unique places that communities can be proud of.
